Bead Blasting
We offer a glass micro bead blasting service to alter the surface of the aluminium prior to anodising to achieve different finishes which can be etched for a matt look or chemically brightened to give a shinier finish.
Glass bead is measured in microns and comes in a variety of sizes from 100 to 800 micron.
The larger the media, the more aggressive the finish on the aluminium.
Coarser bead will hide some light scratches and imperfections but is not a means to remove paint or clean parts that are covered in oil or staining.
